Cooling Performance Based on Outside Temperature

When used with the Biogel cooling pack, the Companion medical cooler bag maintains a cool temperature between 2°C and 26°C.

Cooling duration depends on the external ambient temperature:

🌡️ Outside temperature 40°C → The cooler bag keeps your insulin and medication cool between 2–26°C for up to 10 hours

🌡️ Outside temperature 35°C → The cooler bag keeps your insulin and medication cool between 2–26°C for up to 12 hours

🌡️ Outside temperature 30°C → The cooler bag keeps your insulin and medication cool between 2–26°C for up to 14 hours

⚠️ Important!

The medication cooler bag is designed only for open or in-use medications that must be kept below 26°C, but not refrigerated.

Cooling performance of the Companion Medical Cooler Bag is passive and does not require electricity.

Real-world cooling duration may vary depending on:

How to Use Your Insulin Cool Bag

The Companion Insulin Cool Bag - Medicine Cooler Bag for Travel features an innovative biogel cooling pack, eliminating the need for electricity.

Follow these simple steps to keep your medicine cool, at a safe room temperature:

1️⃣ Place the Blue Biogel Cold Pack in your freezer for 6 to 8 hours until completely frozen.

2️⃣ Soften the cool pack by immersing it in warm water for 60 seconds to maintain a stable cooling temperature. This step ensures that the gel inside the pack achieves the optimal consistency for effective cooling and prevents your medications from freezing when in direct contact with it.

3️⃣ Insert the Biogel Pack into the insulated cooler bag.

4️⃣ Add your medications, securing them inside the bag.

5️⃣  Enjoy up to 14 hours of cooling protection during your travels (see detailed cooling performances below or on the product images).
