How to Use the Pioneer PRO Smart Mini Fridge for Insulin & GLP1 Medications

The Pioneer PRO mini fridge is a premium, travel-ready medical fridge designed to keep refrigerated medications at a safe and stable temperature, wherever your day takes you.

Thanks to its triple cooling system — USB-powered active cooling, Biogel passive cooling, and battery operation — the Pioneer PRO adapts easily to every situation, from long-haul flights and road trips to everyday use and off-grid travel.

🔋 Electric Cooling Mode

(USB Lid with Built-In Battery or External Power)

This is the most powerful and versatile cooling mode, ideal for extended travel, flights, hotel stays, power cuts, and daily use.

How to use:

1️⃣ Place your insulin pens, GLP-1 medications, or vials inside the aluminium cooling tube

2️⃣ Close the unit using the smart USB lid

3️⃣ Power the fridge using the built-in 10,000 mAh battery or any external USB power source

4️⃣ Set your desired storage temperature between 2°C and 25°C using the keypad

Electric Cooling Performance

When operating with the electric USB lid, the Pioneer PRO maintains medications at your chosen storage temperature for as long as power is supplied, either via the internal battery or an external USB source.

⌛ Battery autonomy: 4–8 hours, depending on the selected power level. Power intensity levels (1–4) allow you to balance cooling performance and battery life.

🌡️ Built for demanding environments: When used with the electric lid, the Pioneer PRO mini fridge operates reliably in extreme environments, from 60°C heat to -60°C cold.

❄️ Biogel Cool Pack Mode

(Passive Cooling – No Power Required)

Ideal for off-grid travel, long flights, emergencies, or any time electricity isn’t available.

How to prepare and use:

1️⃣ Prepare the Biogel cooling pack
Shake it firmly 4–5 times to distribute the gel evenly.

2️⃣ Freeze for 6–8 hours
Place it in the freezer overnight. Longer freezing is perfectly fine and won’t damage the pack.

3️⃣ Lightly defrost before use
Before inserting it into the fridge, warm the surface slightly by placing it in lukewarm water for 2–3 minutes or leaving it at room temperature for 10–15 minutes. This helps prevent frost from freezing your medication.

4️⃣ Load and go
Dry the cooling pack, insert it into the tube, load your medications, and close the fridge using either the standard lid or the smart display lid.
